Darren Cox & Nigel Botherway barbel fishing on Warks Avon
Team England match angler Darren Cox has caught plenty of barbel in his time but never a double figure specimen. For a birthday treat he enlisted specimen expert Nigel Botherway for a day on the Warwickshire Avon near Stratford Upon Avon. They have a great days fishing but did Daz catch a barney rubble (double)? You'll have to watch to find out. The Fishing Channel: Steve Souter Giant Skate Fishing
Scottish international boat angler Steve Souter joins his good friend Davy Holt for a days giant skate fishing. They are on board the Laura Dawn skippered by Ronnie Campbell. According to Steve, Davy is the best skate angler in the UK and Ronnie is the best charter boat skipper around so how can he go wrong? The answer is he can't and they don't. Giant skate are real monsters of the deep and it isn't easy to land them once hooked. Try to imagine pulling 200lbs through 500 feet of water. That's what Steve and Davy have to do. It can be back breaking stuff but very rewarding. | From:TheFishingChannel Views:34800 29ratings | |
